The great state of Texas just sent a brutal warning to protesters who are hoping to destroy the Alamo, one of the most famous historical sites in the state.
Over the past few weeks, efforts to remove Confederate monuments and statues of figures like Christopher Columbus have gained traction all over the nation. Now, protesters have reportedly set their sites on the Alamo, but Texas is not having any of it.
Texas land commissioner George P. Bush, son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, fired back at the protesters with a blistering statement, saying, “The Alamo is the Shrine of Texas Liberty. And it will be defended.”
He went on to say thatlaw enforcement has been preemptively deployed to The Alamo to defend it from any riots that may pop up.
“My office is closely watching the social media posts and rumors from protesters who are threatening to come to The Alamo. Rest assured, we have already deployed, for several weeks and continue to do so, the Alamo Rangers in partnership with [San Antonio Police Department, The Department of Public Safety and The National Guard to protect this sacred site,” Bush said.”My message to the protesters is simple: Don’t mess with The Alamo.”
To drive this message home, Bush posted a photo of dozens of law enforcement personnel guarding The Alamo.
Much of America may have descended into chaos, but it’s nice to see that the great people of Texas are not about to let rioters destroy their most treasured historical sites. Leftists will want to think twice before they mess with the Alamo, because Texans will not let it go down without a fight!

I’m so sorry about your tiny penis, guy. Also, weren’t you guys ready for the apocalypse but you can’t read a book for a few months or so?
Need volunteers to help defend it ??? Volunteer
My ancestor fought and died right by the Alamo. His name was Ben Milam. I’m proud to be a Texan and am very supportive that the Alamo is being protected. Thank y’all!!
You go Texas. So glad to see you are proud to protect the Alamo it is history. Stay strong stay right
So great to see someone standing up to the protestors. I sure hope you can protect the Alamo. It’s so disgusting to see how many companies bow down to these awfuL requests to destroy part of the history of the United States. Thank you for protecting one of our great landmarks.
I am so so proud of my state of TEXAS for defending our history!! We love the Alamo and all it stands for. If you don’t have love and loyalty for your state and country…you are missing one of life’s blessings!!
That makes me happy to know there’s people out there wanting to protect our history. God bless
“Remember the Alamo”
Please defend the Alamo with all the means necessary, that is private property and can be defended as such. Someone comes on private property with the intent to damage anything will be shot on sight. If they know what’s coming at them and they choose to defy the law it is their own fault if they are shot. These snowflakes that say they don’t like America should be deported and never be allowed back in OUR BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY.
God Bless the defenders of our beautiful country please. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO WILL STAND FOR THIS COUNTRY !!
Good for Texas. Shoot first and don’t bother asking questions.
It’s about time someone takes a stand, pray it continues.
I am fairly certain, if you need more Texans to surround the Alamo 2 deep or more, there are enough of us retired people will be proud to come!!
Thank you for all you have done President Trump. Keep up the good work. You will always have my vote.
It’s about time someone stood for our history. Way to go TEXAS
I STAND !!! WITH YOU PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
It would be so nice if other states would follow Texas lead and stop these spoiled brats and instigators from destroying history. The statues that have been destroyed have nothing to do with today they are a part of our history and just that!!!!
Remember the Alamo and God bless Texas.
Just allow Texas citizens to volunteer with their arms to defend the Alamo. The police won’t be needed.
DANG RIGHT WE WILL FIGHT TO KEEP THE ALAMO FROM BEING DAMAGED IN ANY WAY.
I say leave HISTORY alone …that is sealed and done ..more power to the ALAMO …
It’s about time somebody in government stood up 2 these fucked the looters and rioters not the peacefull protesters – get as many of them as u can if they come nobody will miss a rioter r looter not the peacefull protesters I no I won’t – I salute u George. P BUSH ‘- This BEER is 4 u 🍺
I think Texas is exactly right and wish more places would do the same. Don’t let these people ruin our history because they feel wronged over something that happened long before they were even born. This stuff has to stop and I think more military, police and whatever forces should be used to put a stop to this nonsense.
Good for you. Would you consider being Governor of California? We could sure use a few people like you. I am 84 years old and I am very upset with what is going on in our country now. I don’t know what my grandchildren will have to live with.
Thank you for defending my heritage – Alamo belongs to all Texans; wherever they currently live and for all those who have passed on.
Leftist? The people that destroy property during a riot are vandals. Not lefties, you need to stop blaming the other parties and stop the hate for the benefit of all the country. Seriously!
Grow up and stop the blaming game.
WHAT’S in people’s Heart will never change by destroying a building, there hate for other people because of their color of skin will never change today-tomorrow-or 100 years to come’
Good for Texas I wish Washington State had as much balls as Texas does we have a wimp for a gov. You go Texas
Lies and propaganda. Far-right nonsense. These mentally challenged big children need to stop worrying about the tiny size of their manhood and go home.
We don’t need George P Bush ,or any other Bush for that matter, to defend the Alamo. We Texans will do it ourselves if necessary.
Amen to that! Good job guys!
Thank you all for protecting our historical monument!!
